EDGE 2 EDGE QUILTING

Edge to Edge (E2E) or all over quilting is a method of longarm quilting where a design is quilted across the quilt from edge to edge not taking into account the block structure of the quilt, giving stability and texture to the quilt.  There is one thread colour used.

SEMI CUSTOM QUILTING

I AM NOT CURRENTLY OFFERING THIS SERVICE
This is where there is more than one design and/or thread colour changes.  For example, the centre body of the quilt might have an all over design on it but the borders will have a separate design/s done on them.  This type of longarm quilting generally costs more than E2E quilting due to the increased time and skill required.

CUSTOM QUILTING

I AM NOT CURRENTLY OFFERING THIS SERVICE
This is the most complex and expensive type of longarm quilting.  For custom quilting, the quilter will place different designs over the quilt. There are invariably lots of stops and starts on this type of quilting, along with thread colour changes, and lots of different techniques may be used to achieve the finished result.

BASTING

If you want to quilt your quilt yourself but do not have the space to baste successfully then the basting service is available.  This is where you provide the three layers of the quilt sandwich separately and they will be basted together on the frame and returned to you to finish.
